178th Annual General Conference

This past weekend was the 178th Annual General Conference. I was able to go to the Saturday Afternoon Session, Priesthood Session, and the Sunday Morning Session of Conference. I attended with my Dad who is on a 3 week business trip and scheduled the weekend to attend conference with me and my sister, Mika, who is graduating from Utah State this May. The weekend was a very spiritually uplifting weekend! A new Prophet was sustained in a solemn assembly Saturday morning. Something that caught my attention was the talks focused on family history work. It's so wonderful to be doing family history work and going to conference and hearing that we are suppose to be seeking out our ancestors and doing their work for them. You feel as if you got a pat on your back for doing what the Lord requires us to do.
